Preventive Medicine Packages
Our screening packages offer a total Preventive Health experience, focused on you and your health. One of the most satisfying aspects of your visit will be the extensive time you are able to spend with a physician with whom you can discuss your health and goals. The physician will explain the results of your tests and answer any questions that you may have.
There are three Preventive Medicine Packages as follows:

Cardio Level 1 – This package provides a series of lab tests and thorough review of blood chemistry markers which indicate the presence, or future risk of cardiovascular disease. It includes an advanced, non-invasive CT Heart Scan which provides a detailed image of the coronary arteries of the heart to determine a "Calcium Score." This score correlates with the amount of atherosclerotic plaque in the coronary arteries. In general, the higher the calcium score, the greater the risks of a heart attack. A cardiologist will review the results with you and provide recommendations based upon your individual results, lifestyle and health situation. Cardio Program – Level 1 $ 1,432.00.

Cardio Level 2 – This package includes all of the services of the Cardio Level 1 package plus additional lab and imaging studies for a more in-depth view of your heart and vascular health. This package provides an excellent benchmark for monitoring your health over time is far more comprehensive than a routine physical examination. Cardio Program – Level 2 $ 2,109.00.

The Premier Package – Our most extensive Preventive Medicine Program includes all of the services of our Cardio Level I and II packages, plus additional lab work to determine your risk of colorectal cancer and cardiovascular disease. It also includes blood tests to evaluate your thyroid function and testosterone levels, a nutrition panel and iron study along with expanded body metrics testing including lung capacity and blood oxygen saturation. Abdominal aortic ultrasound and echocardiogram, also part of the package, offer an even more complete picture of your cardiovascular health. Women will have a breast ultrasound and a man may request if he has had breast cancer in males within his family.
Lastly, the Premier Package offers the most intensive examination by a physician including a thorough examination and review of your health history and lifestyle factors that contribute to your overall wellbeing. The Premier Program – Man $ 4,859.00 and Female $ 5,045.00.
Tests can be purchased individually at a la cart pricing; however packages offer the best value at discount pricing.
As part of your program, you will also be assigned a Health Coach who will evaluate your lifestyle and make recommendations on things you can do every day to improve your overall health. Your health coach will discuss your fitness, diet and lifestyle goals to help develop a plan to meet your individual needs.
After scheduling your appointment and before visiting the Center, you’ll receive a Welcome Package by mail. This package includes a detailed itinerary of your appointment day, a list of tests you will receive, forms you must complete and any special instructions related to your program.
Pre-Visit Questionnaire
Before your appointment at The Center for Preventive Medicine® North Texas please complete the Health History Questionnaire and accompanying food diary that you receive in your Welcome Package. We ask that you complete and return all paperwork seven days prior to your visit so we have optimal time to review your responses before meeting with you. Pre-Visit Lab Work
You will be ask to submit blood and urine samples a week or two prior to your arrival to ensure the results can be processed and available for review by your appointment day. You will receive information along with lab orders, i
nstructing you about lab facilities and locations in the United States. Should your schedule require special assistance we will schedule a time for a phlebotomist to come to your workplace at a time convenient for you. Keep in mind that fasting several hours before this blood work may be required, so please read the all instructions carefully.

Every aspect of your appointment day is organized and scheduled with your convenience and comfort in mind. You’ll appreciate how simple it is to complete a thorough testing program that might otherwise take weeks to arrange.
Check-In To “YOUR” Personal Lounge
First you’ll check in with the Center Coordinator who will explain your itinerary for the day and show you to your executive-style lounge. Here, you can read, check email, watch television, or just relax. Healthy snacks and beverages are also provided during the day.
Imaging and Testing – Body Metrics
The imaging will be based on your prevention program selection. After imaging, a nurse will take your body metric measurements – standardized screening tests.
Health Coaching
Depending on your Prevention Program selection, you may be assigned a health coach who will evaluate your lifestyle and make recommendations on things you can do to improve your overall health.
Dedicated, One-on-One Consultation
Your total health experience will conclude with a one-on-one consultation with one of our Center Cardiologists. The Cardiologist will review the results of your imaging and lab test, help you understand your risks for various diseases and offer suggestions for appropriate medical follow up or lifestyle changes.
What You’ll Take With You
For those clients who select our Premier Package, they will be provided with a CD containing their radiology, cardiology and imaging results, as well as a 3-ring binder that contains your other test results and relevant information about your visit. You’ll also receive all test results, reports and the information compiled from your health history questionnaire in an electronic format called “MyMedDrive.” MyMedDrive is a password protected, USB flash drive enabled by state-of-the-art, U3 technology that allows you to review information on any Windows-based computer. For those who have selected our Cardio Level 1 or Cardio Level 2, they will be provided with a CD containing their radiology, cardiology and imaging results, along with clinical notes, test results and relevant information about your visit. We encourage you to review all of this information with your family physician.
Map & Directions
The Center for Preventive Medicine North Texas is located in the Dallas-Ft. Worth Metropolitan area, just 50 minutes north of Dallas off I-75.
If traveling by air, the Dallas-Ft. Worth International Airport is 32 miles Southwest of McKinney, and Dallas Love Field is just 28 miles away from the Center.
Clients arriving via private or corporate aircraft can fly into Collin County Regional Airport in McKinney, just two miles away.

Payment Options
The Center for Preventive Medicine® North Texas offers a variety of payment options. Pricing for packages varies depending upon the programs and services you or your employer choose. We accept payment in the form of cash, business or personal checks, and VISA, MasterCard, American Express and Discover. Gift certificates are also available.
